Kandla Grey Sandstone Slabs 18mm – A Hard Wearing & Stylish Choice for Patios
Looking to give your garden a smart, practical finish? Our 18mm Kandla Grey sandstone slabs are a solid choice for patios and seating areas. The texture and subtle grey tones offer a neat, understated look that suits both modern and traditional designs. Calibrated to 18mm, these sandstone slabs are easy to lay and work well with sand and cement.
We currently offer these slabs in “Patio Packs” covering 18.97m²* (perfect for those looking for a set ready for laying without crawling for specific slabs) and individual 900mm x 600mm slabs. Kandla Grey sandstone weathers naturally over time, developing character without compromising strength. Whether you’re a landscaper on-site or a DIYer working over the weekend, this is a practical, good-looking option.
Within the patio pack, there’s plenty of variety in the slab sizes to help you create a traditional mixed-size layout without the need for cutting. With 18.97m²* coverage per pack, it’s suitable for most standard patio spaces – and easy to scale up for larger areas.
For a more uniform pattern, or perhaps you need an extra one or two slabs, our 900mm x 600mm slab gives you that little bit extra flexibility in choice.
Once sealed properly, these paving slabs are low maintenance. Giving them a basic wash down now and again is usually enough to keep it looking tidy.

Important Information About Sandstone Slabs
Sandstone is a natural product there will be some variation in tone and texture across the slabs. That’s part of the charm. While every effort is made to match colours on screen, what you see online may differ in person. Over time, exposure to the elements can also change the appearance of the slabs. As it is natural stone, slight variations of up to 4mm (on average) in thickness through the stone are normal. This does not impact laying.
