Expert Slurry Primer for Durable Paving Installations
When laying porcelain or natural stone paving, a reliable slurry primer is essential. Easy Prime delivers a robust bonding layer – also known as a paving primer—ensuring your slabs achieve permanent contact with the bedding mortar. Perfect for patios, pathways, driveways, and more, in residential, commercial, or public settings.
This slurry primer is improved with advanced polymers, offering high tensile strength and long-lasting performance. It mixes easily with water to form a smooth solution that’s straightforward to apply by brush or roller onto the back of paving units – helping to prevent slab lifting, movement, and cracking down the line.
Easy Prime is supplied in a 15kg tub comprising three 5kg sachets – reducing waste and allowing just the right amount for your project. Each sachet covers around 8m², though individual coverage will vary with substrate porosity and finish. Easy Prime leaves you with peace of mind – a solid, fully bonded paved surface.

Important Information
Ensure your sub-base is stable, well-draining, and free from movement risk. Mix in clean, cold water (approx. 2L per sachet), creating a lump-free slurry. Apply a 1-2 mm layer to the slab underside and lay while still wet. Keep unused sealed, stored dry, and ventilated; shelf life is up to 12 months.

- Mix: Add 2Ltr of clean, cold water to the tub. Slowly mix 1 of the 5kg sachets of Easy Prime into the water using a powered paddle. Continue to mix for 3-5 minutes, creating a smooth, lump-free slurry.
- Apply: Apply Easy Prime to the back of the paving to a thickness of 1-2mm using a roller or brush. Leave an inch wide gap around the edge for handling.
- Lay: Whilst still wet, lay paving and level into the bedding mortar.
- Store Unused Product: Keep the product sealed until use in dry, well ventilated conditions at ambient temperatures and away from all sources of damp. When kept in original sealed state in a permanently dry environment, this product will retain a shelf life of up to 12 months from date of manufacture.
