6×3 Timber – Versatile Timber for Agriculture and Landscaping

Our 6×3 timber is a substantial choice for a wide range of landscaping and general timber projects. Measuring 150mm x 75mm, its wider dimensions make it particularly useful where a larger section of timber is preferred for practical applications.

The 6×3 timber is a favorite for agricultural applications or for smaller outdoor structures like pergolas, gazebos, and carports. Its treated timber finish provides durability, making it resistant to moisture, decay, and insect damage, which is essential for outdoor use. Note the treatment is not Use Class 4, therefore the timber will need appropriate treatment or protective applications in place to maintain the life of the timber if in ground contact.

For landscaping projects, these timbers are ideal as small retaining walls and garden borders. The treated timber finish makes them weather-resistant. Many landscapers also use these long timber lengths for raised garden beds and planter boxes, where their sturdy dimensions and treated finish make them long-lasting and visually appealing additions to large outdoor areas.
