Durable & Reliable High Tensile Horse Net

The R13/120/8 high tensile horse net is designed to provide a reliable and durable barrier for horses. It features pre-stripped ends that make joining the fence an easy process. The fence also contains solid vertical wires and close wire spacing to prevent damage to the hooves of horses.

The Tornado Horse Fence is a popular choice among horse owners due to its high tensile wire, which requires fewer posts and makes installation quicker. The fence remains taut and does not need annual retightening. The fence’s high-pressure bonded, smooth knot and continuous vertical stay wire provide optimal strength even in the most extreme environments, making it an ideal high tensile horse net.

When installing the fence, it is crucial to install a straining post at every direction change or termination and support it with a strut or box assembly. Netting should be tied off on the straining posts by hand or using joiners. The crimp in the net should be reduced by approximately 50% when tensioning the fence to ensure it is taut.

For additional height and visibility, it is recommended to install 2 lines of plain line wire above the netting. However, it is essential to avoid driving staples too tightly against the wire as it can damage the galvanized coating.
