These screws feature a POZI-compatible head, making them easy to use with a wide range of tools. The six angled lobes allow for better countersinking, leaving your work with a neat, professional finish.

With a reinforced countersunk neck, you’ll notice the holding power, while the anti-friction thread prevents ‘jacking’ (the rotation of adjoining timber) and reduces the risk of splitting. This ensures a secure, lasting fix for your project.

The serrated cutting thread improves grip and reduces drive torque, making your job quicker and more precise. The double cutting point also helps prevent splitting and speeds up drive time, even when working with 0.8mm steel.

To protect against corrosion, these screws come with an anti-corrosive finish that has been salt spray tested for 400 hours. This means they last up to six times longer than standard zinc-coated screws, ensuring durability and long-term reliability for your projects.

These versatile screws are suitable for interior use, making them compatible with a wide range of materials, including chipboard, fibreboard, hardwood, softwood, laminates, plywood, plastics, PVCu, MDF, particleboard, and even 0.8mm steel.

• Self-Drilling Point Like other ForgeFast screws, the anti-split version comes with a sharp, self-drilling tip. The self-drilling point also minimises the chance of splitting timber.
• Dual-Thread Design The screws feature a dual-thread pattern, with a coarse lower thread that bites quickly into the material and a finer upper thread for a secure hold, reducing the stress on the timber during insertion, further helping to prevent splitting.
• Anti-Split Shank One of the defining features of these screws is their specialised anti-split shank. The unique shank geometry is designed to reduce friction as the screw penetrates the wood, which significantly decreases the risk of wood fibres splitting or cracking during installation.
• Corrosion Resistance ForgeFast Anti-Split Screws are coated with a durable, corrosion-resistant finish, making them suitable for outdoor use.
• Countersunk Head with Ribs These screws come with a countersunk head designed to sit flush with the surface of the wood. The ribs under the head also help to cleanly cut through the surface, ensuring a smooth finish without damaging the material.
