Shed & Fence Russet wood stain – protect your garden timber

Shed & Fence Russet is a warm mid-brown wood stain designed to protect and improve your garden timber. Its water-based formula soaks easily into dry wood, leaving a waterproof coating that lets the wood breathe and move naturally.

This colour works beautifully on its own, or you can combine it with Nut Brown or Gold to create a more varied look.

Protek Shed & Fence treatment is a trusted option for long-lasting, waterproof wood protection. It’s cost-effective and suitable for both planed and rough sawn timber. With wax added for extra water resistance, each coat builds up the colour and adds more protection.

This water-based wood stain has low VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and minimal odour, making it a great choice for not only fences and sheds but also for animal enclosures like kennels and chicken coops.

Available in a variety of natural shades, Shed & Fence can be applied using a brush or a low-pressure sprayer. It’s a safe, eco-friendly alternative to Creosote and is easy to clean up with just warm water and detergent.

This stain covers up to 12m² per litre per coat, making it an economical choice. A single coat will usually colour and protect fences, while a second coat adds more depth. For sheds, two coats are recommended for the initial treatment, with only one coat needed for future maintenance.
