Important Information
For joints 3 mm wide and at least 20–25 mm deep. Shallower joints require packing out with sand first. Not intended for high-load driveways. Avoid power-washing for 14 days after installation – hand-spray only, keeping nozzle at least 10-15 cm from the surface. Please always follow the manufacturer’s installation guide. Ensure paving is clean and joints meet minimum size requirements. Store any leftover material submerged in water to maintain usability, and allow a full curing period for best durability.

- Before Starting: Ensure the joints are at least 3mm wide and 20mm deep.
- Pre-Soak: For natural stone paving, pre-soak the slabs with water.
- Pour: Once the area is thoroughly soaked, cut open the bag of Easy Joint Compound and pour it onto the paving.
- Wet: Wet the Easy Joint compound to create a slurry.
- Sweep: Sweep the compound into the joints whilst wetting it. Make sure you work quickly and do no leave the Easy Joint in piles or in one spot. It is easier to use Easy Joint with two people, one of them can sweep the compound, while the other sprays the water.
- Top Up: Use more Easy Joint to top up any areas and repeat the washing process as before. In warmer weather, paving can dry quickly. Therefore, ensure the paving is kept wet.
- Final Rinse: Apply a final rinse of water across the surface to wash off any Easy Joint residue and to aid the final compaction process. Reduce wastage by saving any unused product by submerging it in 2" or more of water.
- Pointing: If desired, use a pointing tool to strike the joints for a smoother finish.
