Slatted Fence Panels with Added Privacy
Our double slatted fence panels are made for the modern garden look. The planed, rounded slats (measuring approximately 8mm x 43mm) have gaps of approximately 15mm between them. Please note the size of gap may vary. Covering the gaps from the other side, the alternating placement of the slats on our fence panels create a sense of privacy. Additionally, there are wider slats (measuring approximately 8mm x 75mm) fixed at alternating ends of the slatted fence panels, with one positioned at the top on one side and the other at the bottom on the opposite side.
Made from softwood timber, these slatted fence panels undergo pressure treatment with a copper based solution for protection against the weather, providing a greater life expectancy for the panel. Each panel is 1.8m wide and are supported by four vertical sawn timber battens keeping the slats in place. The full thickness of the slatted fence panels measure approximately 46mm, including the slats.
To improve the structure of the slatted fence panels, the slats are fixed to the battens using long anti-corrosive staples. You can choose from three heights of fence panel: 1.2m, 1.5m, and 1.8m, providing flexibility to suit individual fencing preferences.
If you are installing these slatted fence panels with concrete slotted posts or with 1.83m (6ft) gravel boards we highly recommend purchasing our panel packers. These are sold individually, requiring two packers for each of the slatted fence panels, effectively extending the panel width to 6ft (1.83m) to perfectly fit the posts and gravel boards.
