Hanbury 35mm Artificial Grass Technical Specifications:

The utilization of polyethylene reinforced with polypropylene in Hanbury’s yarn fabrication enhances its resilience. The 35mm pile height (with an admissible variation of ±1mm) ensures a plush tactile experience.

Hanbury’s lifelike appearance is an attribute created by the combination between the ‘Wave’ shape and the ‘Curl’ monofilament, which there are 8 pieces/blades each. Furthermore its design incorporates a 3/8-inch spacing, with a purpose to provide exceptional coverage and performance.

The yarn is made with a 4-Color palette heightening the look to mirror the natural appeal of grass. Furthermore, the sewing rate of 24 per 10cm (with an allowable variance of ±3%) and 25,200 stitches per square meter (with an allowable variance of ±10%) underscore the Hanbury appearance.

This remarkable simulated grass solution incorporates 100 to 150 pre-punched drainage holes per square meter, facilitating efficient moisture dispersal and boasting a noteworthy osmosis rate of 3,600 liters per hour, per m². Consequently, the Hanbury 35mm artificial grass manages moisture effectively.

The main backing, a sturdy polypropylene textile (120g per m²), and the secondary backing, composed of resilient non-woven material (60g per m²), contribute to Hanbury’s structural integrity. Additionally, it is enhanced with a robust black SBR (styrene butadiene rubber, a water-resistant adhesive and sealing agent) adhesive coat at 1018g per m², you can be confident in the Hanbury’s longevity. Complimenting its strength, the Hanbury is crafted to excel in durability with its pull out force rated at 35 newtons.

It’s crucial to highlight that Hanbury adheres to EN 13501-1:2007+A1:2009 criteria for Efl-class flammability. Along with a reassuring 10-year UV protection attribute, Hanbury guarantees vibrancy and longevity.

There are a few simple steps that can be taken to ensure your Grassmate artificial grass product remains in the best condition for its lifetime:

Brush The Pile

This will help to rejuvenate any areas that might have flattened slightly. For best results, push against the grass in the opposite direction to where it is leaning.

Leaves & Other Debris

All leaves/debris should be removed from the artificial grass surface as it can build up and affect drainage. All you require for this step is a stiff brush, leaf blower, rotating brush or hoover.

Weeds

All installations should include a weed membrane beneath the grass to avoid unwanted weeds and airborne seeds embedding in the grass. Should any moss or weeds appear, ensure that only a water-based weed killer is used.

Even Wear

Regularly move chairs, tables, toys or any items that remain stationary to avoid flattening and wear conditions on the grass. Brush the area with a stiff yard brush to stimulate the grass pile and freshen it up.

Things to avoid:

Avoid large and heavy vehicles being parked on the artificial surface for long periods of time.

Cigarettes, BBQ's and bonfires should never be used near artificial grass.

Mirrors or reflective glass should never be installed near artificial grass as the reflected light from intense sunlight can melt the grass blades.

Glass and other sharp objects should never be left on the lawn unattended. Other than the obvious risk of causing serious injury to others, it can damage your lawn.

The use of improper footwear, such as football/rugby boots, stilettos or any footwear that is not flat could damage the grass.

Strong detergents such as bleach should never be used, always use the advised methods.
