Strong & Resistant High Tensile Stock Net from Tornado Wire

The R8/80/15 high tensile stock net is composed of solid vertical wires and showcases the unobtrusive Torus knot. The knot is high-pressure bonded and does not have any sharp edges, making it safe for livestock. Tornado manufactures this fence with high tensile wire which strains tighter than mild steel. Therefore, the wire requires fewer intermediate posts and facilitates quicker installation. Furthermore, the net is weather-resistant and does not stretch, reducing the need for annual retightening.

The installation guidelines for the high tensile stock net indicate that a straining post is necessary at every major change in direction or termination. It should have support from a strut or box assembly. Netting must be tied off by hand or with suitable joiners on the straining posts. During installation, reducing the “crimp” in the net by approximately 50% is necessary, and driving staples too tight against the wire should be avoided to prevent damage to the galvanized coating. Additionally, to increase security add two strands of barbed wire or a single electrified wire can be added to the top of the fence.
