The HT8/80/15 high tensile stock net is widely used for stock fencing. Manufactured with high tensile wire, this wire tightens more than mild steel therefore reducing the need for more intermediate posts, making it faster to erect. Moreover, it doesn’t stretch with weathering, eliminating the need for annual retightening.
To ensure proper installation of the high tensile stock net, a straining post is necessary at every significant change in direction or termination, supported by a strut or box assembly. Hand-tying or using suitable joiners is recommended for tying off the netting on straining posts. While tensioning the fence, the “crimp” in the net should be reduced by about 50%. It is advised to avoid driving staples tight against the wire to prevent damage to the galvanized coating. To secure the fence further, a strand or two of barbed wire or a single strand of standard line wire (or electrified wire) can be added to the top.
Regarding safety, it is crucial to wear protective gloves, boots, and glasses at all times when handling the product.
