The Lattice Top Horizontal Gate offers a contemporary twist on traditional fencing ideas. Typically consisting of wooden slats or boards arranged parallel to each other with gaps in between to form a lattice pattern at the top section of the gate. This design adds visual interest to the gate while still providing security and privacy.
Constructed using the same materials as the lattice top horizontal panels, the gate has 95mm wide grooved alternating slats arranged horizontally for a contemporary aesthetic. Topping off the fence with a bit of sophistication is a section of diamond lattice, crafted from planed rounded lattice strips. This lattice introduces an elegant pattern with approximately 50mm square gaps. Small screws fix the slats to the supporting battens on the gate. Anti-corrosive staples secure all other parts of the panel together.
The gate is pressure treated green, to enhance longevity and withstand harsh conditions. After installing the gate, you only need to treat it every two to three years thereafter. You can hang the gate using tee hinges and choose from a variety of latching mechanisms such as a ring latch or Suffolk latch.
Matching the lattice top horizontal panels, this gate gives an alternative for garden and landscaping options moving from traditional featheredge designs. Whether framing a garden entrance or enhancing the curb appeal of your property, our lattice top horizontal gate is the perfect finishing touch for any landscaping project.
It is strongly recommended to fit two Brenton Bolts on the gate. One on the top and one on the bottom of the gate to reduce warping when closed.
Please note: Timber is a natural product. Finishes and sizes may vary from illustration and description. While every care is taken to provide you the best material, with it being natural it can move, split, warp, twist, swell and shrink.
