Cold-lay tarmac, a pre-mixed, bitumen-based asphalt available in small tubs or bags, offers a quick, easy, and highly cost-effective solution for repairing and filling potholes in paths, driveways, roads, and carparks.

When properly applied, the aggregate and bitumen in cold-lay tarmac fuse together, forming a solid and impenetrable reinstatement within the pothole. This compacted reinstatement effectively blocks water from seeping into narrow cracks on the surface of roads, driveways, or paths, preventing the formation of new potholes or the expansion of existing ones.

The cold lay tarmac doesn’t require substantial heating for activation. Instead, leaving it out in the sun or slightly warmer temperatures loosens the aggregate. Rigorously tamping down ensures a strong and robust temporary fix to potholes or damaged surfaces.
