Granite Dust or Grano dust as it is sometimes known as, is a fine aggregate usually in size 0mm – 6mm. The bi-product of crushing granite or trap rock, the second and third most common rocks for producing crushed stone. This aggregate boasts exceptional durability and load-bearing capabilities, making it a superior option to limestone in environments with acidic waters or soils.

In sub-bases for Patios and Pathways, Granite dust serves as a dependable foundation, ensuring stability and levelness necessary for laying patios and constructing seamless pathways. Moreover, when Utilised as a top dressing above the base layer, it enhances the stability and aesthetic appeal of artificial grass installations.

When mixed with soil, Grano dust enhances drainage and aeration, particularly beneficial in gardens with clay-rich soil compositions. Owing to its fine texture, granite dust improves soil drainage capacity by fostering pore spaces, enabling efficient water drainage and averting waterlogging issues.
