Q. Do David Musson Fencing install?
A. Unfortunately we do not install fencing, we only supply. However we do have a list of contractor customers who we deal with regularly that may be able to help.
Q. Can David Musson Fencing cut timber down to specific sizes?
A. Unfortunately we do not offer a timber cutting service.
Q. Can David Musson Fencing work out how much material you will need for a job?
A. We do not work out the exact amount of material you will need for a job. Our team are happy to help advise you, however it is your responsibility to know how much material is needed.
Q. Should I re-treat my treated timber?
A. Two or three years after installation, it is recommended you treat your timber once a year to prolong life span.
Q. Can David Musson Fencing make specific sizes of panels?
A. We cannot make or cut fence panels to specific sizes.
Q. Can David Musson Fencing make specific sizes of gates?

Q. How long will the timber last?
A. Timber life expectancy varies depending on the species of timber, the treatment type and ground conditions. Species of timber such as whitewood is not a naturally resistant as redwood. Treatment grades such as UC4 have up to a 15-year life expectancy but this it not a guarantee. Other treatment such as creosote (professional agriculture use only) can last up to 40 years.

Q. I have a trade account, can I order online?
A. You cannot order online using your trade account at the moment.
Q. I live out of the delivery radius. Can I still get a delivery from David Musson Fencing?
A. Yes, we can deliver out of our standard delivery radius. You can request a quote for this on our website or alternatively speak to one of our team over the phone or via email.
Q. Do I have to be in for the delivery to be completed?
A. No, you do not need to be present during the delivery of your goods. Please review our delivery Terms & Conditions as we are kerbside hardstanding delivery only.
Q. Can I come and collect my order straight after I have ordered it?
A. Yes, you can come and collect an order as soon as the order is placed. Please allow approximately 30 minutes for online orders.
Q. I need to add something to my delivery, is this possible?
A. Yes, you may add to an existing delivery that is scheduled up until 12:00pm the day before it is scheduled* and as long as there is enough room on the vehicle, however this is not guaranteed. We will not add items on to deliveries after 12:00pm.
*Please note: if your delivery is scheduled for a Monday slot, or the day after a holiday, the latest you can add to your delivery is 12pm the Friday before.
Q. Can I exchange some materials if the specifications of the job changes?
A. Yes, you can exchange materials if the project has changed. As long as it is within 30 days of purchase or receipt of delivery, has not been used and is still in original packaging (where applicable). Note, a restocking charge may apply.
Q. Can I return materials if I have finished a job and no longer require them?
A. Yes, we can take materials back for a refund, as long as the goods are in a resaleable condition and within 30 days of purchase or receipt of delivery. Note, a restocking charge may apply.
Q. I am looking to set up a cash or credit account. Can I do that?
A. Yes, you can potentially open a cash or credit account with us. Please speak to a member of our team who will be able to advise you on the process for this. This is not guaranteed and is at Accounts & Director discretion.
